ChangeClear collects the information needed to operate the account, reading, archive, and billing surfaces. This may include your email address, account identifiers, saved readings, usage events, and billing references tied to paid access state.

Payment card details are processed by Stripe and are not stored directly in the ChangeClear application database.

If you choose the personalized timing note, you may enter an optional birth date, birth time, and birth place. In the current free flow, those values are processed only in your browser session and are not sent to the ChangeClear server.

We use account and reading data to authenticate you, return saved readings, operate billing and entitlement checks, respond to support requests, and improve the reliability of the product.

We do not sell personal information. We use service providers only where needed to run the product, process payments, host the site, and monitor operational health.

Product analytics record only whether optional birth fields were used. Analytics do not receive the birth date, birth time, or birth place values.

Reading records and account data are retained for as long as needed to provide the product, maintain billing continuity, meet legal obligations, and investigate abuse or service failures.

We may disclose information when required by law, to protect the service, or to investigate fraud, billing disputes, or security incidents.

Birth values used for the free timing note are kept in sessionStorage for the current reading session, are excluded from long-term localStorage, and are removed when the browser session ends. The temporary intake draft is removed when the reading is created or when you choose to skip birth details.
